At the heart of the S104SC is HRE's proprietary FMR® (Forged Monoblok Rim) barrel technology — a one-piece barrel forged from the same aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum used in HRE's monoblock wheels. Compared to traditional three-piece wheel barrels, the FMR® design delivers greater stiffness, reduced overall mass, and higher concentricity, while eliminating the air seal that three-piece assemblies require. Note that 23" and 24" fitments use the Round Lip FMR-X barrel in place of the standard Angled Lip barrel. Assembly hardware is available in either a visible or hidden bolt configuration, with optional titanium hardware for further weight savings.
