The HD188H's 2-piece construction pairs a forged aluminum center with HRE's proprietary FMR® (Forged Monoblok Rim) barrel—a one-piece forged 6061-T6 aluminum rim section produced using the same aerospace-grade process as HRE's monoblock wheels. The result is a barrel with greater stiffness, reduced mass, and higher concentricity than traditional multi-piece designs, while eliminating the air seal required by three-piece wheels. Hidden assembly bolts keep the look clean, and the FMR® barrel is available with either an angled lip or an optional machined lip (+$100/wheel).
Personalization runs deep on the HD188H. Choose from 12 standard solid finishes, or specify one of 61 optional transparent colors applied over brushed, polished, stone, or frozen metal surfaces—and the FMR® barrel can be finished independently from the center for a two-tone look. Fully custom colors are available on request. Top off the wheel with the standard HRE center cap or upgrade to an engraved billet cap (+$100/wheel).
