Drivers who demand sharp, confident handling at speed will find a tire tuned for strong grip in wet and dry conditions, quick stopping power, and stable cornering behavior across a range of everyday and spirited driving situations.

An asymmetrical tread layout works in tandem with a performance compound to sharpen cornering stability and reduce braking distances at elevated speeds. Reinforced shoulder blocks resist flex and deformation during hard cornering, keeping the contact patch consistent when lateral forces are highest. The all-season compound broadens usability beyond fair-weather driving without sacrificing the tire's performance focus.

Key Features

Asymmetrical tread pattern engineered for consistent cornering stability

Performance compound formulated to shorten braking distances at speed

Reinforced shoulder blocks resist deformation under hard lateral loads

All-season capability extends usability beyond dry summer conditions

Designed for sports cars, sports sedans, and performance crossovers

Available in 14 sizes spanning 17–20 inch rim diameters

Performance Profile

Season Coverage: UHP All-Season

Projected Longevity: UTQG treadwear 480

Traction Grade: A (UTQG wet traction)

Temperature Grade: A (UTQG heat resistance)

About Rockblade Wheels

Rockblade is a Taiwanese manufacturer specializing in carbon fiber bicycle wheels, primarily targeting road cyclists and triathletes. The company produces clincher, tubular, and tubeless-ready rim and disc brake wheelsets across a range of depths, typically between 38mm and 88mm.

Rockblade is recognized for offering factory-direct carbon wheels at mid-range price points, positioning itself between budget no-name manufacturers and established premium brands. The company is commonly associated with aerodynamic rim profiles and in-house carbon layup processes. Its wheels are distributed internationally, often purchased directly by consumers through online channels.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 255/50ZR20XL109W mean?

255 is the tread width in millimeters, 50 means the sidewall is 50% of that width, and R20 is the 20-inch rim it mounts on. 109 is the load index (2,271 lbs per tire), and W is the speed rating (up to 168 mph).

Is the StaminaRace a true all-season tire, or is it primarily a summer performance tire?

The StaminaRace is rated as an all-season tire, meaning its compound is designed to remain functional in light cold-weather and wet conditions. However, it is not Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, so it is not intended for severe winter conditions, heavy snow, or sustained icy roads. Drivers in regions with harsh winters should consider a dedicated winter tire for those months.

What types of vehicles is this tire designed for?

The StaminaRace is engineered for passenger vehicles with a performance focus — specifically sports cars, sports sedans, and crossovers where handling responsiveness and high-speed stability are priorities. It is available in 17- to 20-inch rim sizes to cover a broad range of fitments in those categories.

Does the StaminaRace come with a mileage warranty?

This model does not carry a published mileage warranty beyond the manufacturer's standard warranty coverage. Shoppers should factor that in when comparing long-term value, particularly if high annual mileage is a consideration.

How does the reinforced shoulder design benefit everyday driving?

The reinforced shoulders are built to limit tread block flex when the tire is under lateral stress — such as during hard cornering or quick lane changes. This helps maintain a stable, predictable contact patch, which translates to more consistent grip and steering response rather than a vague or unpredictable feel at the limit.

Do I get the full manufacturer warranty buying from TFS Wheels?

Yes.
