It delivers a composed, comfortable ride with confident all-season grip, stable cornering, and dependable wet-weather performance — making it a practical, long-wearing choice for everyday hauling and highway cruising.

The symmetrical tread uses a twin-block pattern with five random variable pitch sequences to reduce road noise. Four wide circumferential grooves channel water away efficiently to resist hydroplaning, while wide, deep secondary grooves further aid drainage and braking in wet conditions. Multiple balanced sipes spread across the tread promote even wear, light-snow traction, and a smooth contact patch. A prominent center rib supports straight-line stability and quiet rolling, and large shoulder blocks add cornering confidence. The Roadian HT carries a 60,000-mile treadwear warranty.

We stock the Nexen Roadian-HT in 28 sizes for 15"–20" wheels — every size below lists its exact specs.

Key Features

Twin-block symmetrical tread reduces noise via five variable pitch sequences

Four wide circumferential grooves evacuate water to resist hydroplaning

Multiple balanced sipes promote even tread wear throughout tire life

Center rib design supports smooth, quiet highway handling

Large shoulder blocks enhance lateral stability during cornering

Deep secondary grooves improve wet braking performance

60,000-mile treadwear warranty for long-term value

Performance Profile

Season Coverage: Highway Terrain

Projected Longevity: UTQG treadwear 520 · 60,000-mile manufacturer tread-life warranty

Traction Grade: A (UTQG wet traction)

Temperature Grade: B (UTQG heat resistance)

About Nexen Tires

Nexen Tire traces its origins to 1942, when the company was founded in South Korea under the name Heung-a Tire Industry. The brand adopted the Nexen name in 2000, drawing from the words "Next" and "Century" to reflect a forward-looking approach to tire development. With manufacturing operations in the United States and other regions, Nexen integrates global engineering practices and technologies across its product lineup.

Nexen offers a broad range of tire families to address diverse driving needs. The N'Blue lines are designed for all-weather versatility, while Roadian tires target rugged terrain and commercial applications. N'Fera tires are engineered for performance-oriented drivers, and N'Priz tires emphasize touring comfort. The N5000 and Aria lines focus on everyday commuting, and the Winguard series addresses winter conditions. In 2025, Nexen opened a dedicated winter tire testing center in Finland to further advance cold-weather performance development.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Nexen Roadian HT a true all-terrain tire or primarily a highway tire?

The Roadian HT is best classified as a highway terrain tire. Its tread design includes sipes and grooves that handle light off-road and mild unpaved surfaces, but it is optimized for on-road comfort, low noise, and highway durability rather than aggressive off-road use. Drivers who regularly tackle deep mud or rocky trails would be better served by a dedicated all-terrain or mud-terrain tire.

How does the Roadian HT perform in snow and winter conditions?

The tire's multiple sipes provide a degree of light-snow traction for all-season driving, but the Roadian HT is not Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, meaning it has not met the industry threshold for severe-snow service. In regions with heavy winter weather, a dedicated winter tire will offer meaningfully better grip on packed snow and ice.

What is the mileage warranty on the Roadian HT?

Nexen backs the Roadian HT with a 60,000-mile treadwear warranty. The balanced sipe layout is specifically designed to promote uniform wear across the tread face, helping drivers get the most out of that coverage.

Will the Roadian HT be noisy on the highway?

Nexen engineered the tread with a five-sequence variable pitch pattern and a continuous center rib specifically to minimize road noise at highway speeds. While no light-truck tire is as quiet as a passenger-car touring tire, the Roadian HT is designed to be notably composed and comfortable for its segment.

What vehicle types is the Roadian HT designed to fit?

The Roadian HT is sized for light trucks, SUVs, and crossovers, with fitments available across 15-inch through 20-inch rim diameters. Its load-handling capability and stable shoulder block design make it well suited for vehicles that may carry cargo or tow light loads.

Do I get the full manufacturer warranty buying from TFS Wheels?

Yes.
